BHM and BA Travel and Tourism are 4 and 3 years of duration programs respectively at Amity University Kolkata. Both courses have the equal opportunities in Aviation, Hotel and Tourism sectors. However, my choice is BHM (Four year) duration course.

Hi Tanu,
You can do Diploma course in airlines and tourism management it would be a one year course in which 6 months would be on the airport training and 6 months study of course.

It is not necessary that you have to appear for an exam before getting the admission in hotel Management College. The Hotel School, Delhi takes the direct admissions and offers the courses from Tata Institute of Social Sciences - School of Vocational Education, TISS-SVE. Here you can join B.Voc Degree in Hotel Management.
B.Voc is a work integrated degree program where applicants get opportunity to earn while learning.
In this program theory classes happen at The Hotel School (training hub partner) and practical training is conducted at leading star category hotels in Delhi and Haldwani, Uttrakhand.

No, NCHMCT is not an only option to get admission in Hotel Management. In fact it is a lengthy and time taking procedure and in the end admission is not guaranteed. The best course is B.Voc DEGREE in Hotel Management. B.Voc is a work integrated degree programme where applicants get opportunity to earn while learning. You have already done graduation, so now you can go for 1 year specialization courses in hotel management.
1 Year Certification course in food production will help you learn and train you about the preparation of various cuisines like Bakery, Continental, and European etc. The course is specialization course and is approved from Tourism and Hospitality Skill Council.
The Hotel School offers this course to you in its 3 campuses which are in Delhi, Haldwani and Pithoragarh.
After completing the course, The Hotel School provides job assistance to its students in good category hotels, Some of the hotels are:

The admission to the Hotel management colleges is through NCHMCT JEE exam carried out by NTA.
It is an entrance exam which consists of the following:
1 Numerical Ability and Analytical Aptitude- 30 marks
2 Reasoning and Logical Deduction- 30 marks
3 General Knowledge & Current Affairs- 30 marks
4 English Language- 60 marks
5 Aptitude for Service Sector-50 marks
A total of 200 marks 3 hours exam, which can be given in both English and Hindi medium.
Form for the exam can only filled online.
The form for the same is available on nchm.nic.in in December to March months for the academic year, which will start from the upcoming July.
