You need to appear for NCHM JEE in order to get any of the central government institutes i.e IHMs. After the exams in one or one and a half months, the results will be introduced and you will have to appear in the counselling. There will be three rounds of counselling namely 1st, 2nd and the spot round. You will be allotted a seat on the basis of your rank and your locked choices. In mid-July, the courses will start in every government and NCHMCT affiliated Institutes (this year it's starting from 18th of July). For Admission in Private colleges, you need to appear for their entrance exams such as (STEP, e-chat e. t. c. ). In some of the private colleges, you will have to face group discussion and personal interviews. You need to show your final certificates in order to take admission to your preferred college/institute.

These days even government hospitals under NHM hire hospital administrator. Apart from that door to many opportunities (hospitals, consultancies, MNCs, advisories) in different healthcare sector opens with this course. I would suggest you to do it from IHMR or TISS.
