It is better to first clarify, either event or hotel management?
Both are two different things. So, first focus on anyone as pursuing my hotel management from IHM-Chennai, it is the second ranked college in India for hotel management. Don't worry about the entrance exam. It is very easy and if you have basic IQ, you can easily clear the exam.
For further query, feel free to ask.

There are a lot of opportunities. But it depends on an individual how he/she is putting his efforts. Are you relying on an agency or a consultant to go abroad? Yes, then you are making a lot of efforts. Seriously, No.
Try by yourself, why is it? There are more fraud agencies than genuine. Even if it is genuine, they will be asking for a hefty amount of placement. So, better find yourself. You can do your internship before graduating as well. After graduation, there are some companies who don't prefer an intern. Anyways, you can try for each and every hotel as I did and focus on Asia Pacific and UAE as these places have more chances than US or UK.

Master's degree would allow you to apply for senior positions or quick promotions in future.
