You can directly come to Chitkara University and apply for your admission procedure in the university or you can visit Chitkara's office in your respective city if it is available.

Yes, you can get an IHM college as you have scored an AIR of 8799. There are wide range of colleges available. Some of the top colleges are IHM Ahmedabad, IHM Shimla IHM Dehradun IHM Jaipur and IHM Bhopal.

Giving entrance exam for getting admission in Hotel Management Institutes is not important in these days. It's totally dependent on the college weather they want to take it or not. You can get direct admission in many reputed HM colleges without giving any test. As you know hotel management is fast becoming every students preferred course choice primarily Due to its scope and good placements available.
Most people feel that after pursuing a course in hotel management he/she can only pursue a job at the front office of a hotel. However, this is a stereotype. These days most colleges offer diploma, short-term as well as specialised course
