You can do hotel management course. As majority of institutes have closed their admission process, you may have to try next year for hotel management.

BE offers more salary and has better job opportunity than BHM. After BHM, starting salary is less as compared to BE and also after MHM, you will get salary which will be equivalent to BE plus 2 years of experience. Growth in terms of salary and career is good in case of BE and a bit slower in hotel industry.

It is important to understand that hotel management is 80% a practical course and only 20% theoretical. Moreover, it is a skill based program which has plenty of job opportunities in India as well as abroad.
Now, coming to your question, your 12th standard marks are not relevant if you look to pursue any skill based professional degree. There is huge demand for skilled manpower in hospitality industry. The program includes industrial training where the student learns from the industry as well. For IT of 6 months, student can opt for India or Abroad.
You should opt for a Degree rather than a Diploma as it has very limited options.

The eligibility criteria to pursue hotel management course is class 12th. Hence, you are fully eligible. Institutes falling under National Council offer 3 years Diploma Course while private institutes offer 4 years Diploma course
There is an entrance test consisting of English, Reasoning, General Science and General Knowledge. The duration of the test is 2 hours and is held in April every year. The test is followed by a group discussion and interview, in which a candidate's personality and confidence are evaluated. Hello,
Some college may give you admission.
This type of admission is known as provisional admission. It means you are pursuing but you must have to submit your clear result within deadline given by college or before filling examination form. It depends on college. But if you are fail to submit result than they can cancel your admission and you may lost your amount of fees.

Here is basic idea of eligibility criteria for Hotel Management courses:

UG: Class 12 from any stream + 50%

PG: UG degree from a recognized university.

Diploma/Certification: Class 12 or Class 10 scores.
