The duration of an M.Phil program varies depending on the institution and country. It may be two years of full-time study to comply for full-time students (or five years of part-time study).

To apply for PUBDET for a BA in Bengali course, candidates must have studied Bengali as a subject in their high school. They must also have scored at least 60% marks in Bengali in their class 12 final exams.
