The IBPS Clerk cut off marks are determined based on various factors and may differ across states and categories. Candidates are advised to prepare well and aim for maximum marks to secure a high score and improve their chances of qualifying with good margins. Scoring well above the expected IBPS Clerk cut off marks will ensure a candidate’s selection for the next round. IBPS Clerk prelims cut off is calculated to 100 marks. The final allotment cut off is decided after normalisation the marks out of 200. The cut off for final selection is calculated out of the normalised marks of 100.

The interview score is sorted, considering only those who score above 40% (35% for SC/ST and PWD) in the interview.
80% weightage is given to the common written normalized score and then the remaining 20% is allotted to the interview.
While the IBPS clerk exams' final selection will be based on the marks obtained in the main examination. 

Only those who receive a score of at least 40% (or 35% for SC/ST and PWD) in the interview are taken into account for sorting the results.
The common written normalized score is given an 80% weighting, while the interview receives the remaining 20%.

IBPS Clerk prelims Quantitative Aptitude section carries a total of 35 questions of 35 marks. Questions in this section are asked from Number Series, Data Interpretation, Simplification/ Approximation, Quadratic Equation, Data Sufficiency, Mensuration, Average, Profit and Loss, Ratio and Proportion, Work, Time, and Energy, Time and Distance, Probability, Relations, Simple and Compound Interest, Permutation and Combination. Usually, maximum questions are asked from Data Interpretation, Arithmatic, etc. To ace the Quant section of IBPS Clerk exam, candidates need to prepare well by solving the previous years' question papers.

IBPS Clerk 2023 application form last date was July 28, 2023. Earlier, the last date to fill IBPS Clerk application form was July 21, 2023. However, the application deadline was extended by the examination authority. Candidates should hurry up and fill the application form as soon as possible. IBPS Clerk application needs to be filled online only. Candidates are not required to sent the printout of the application form. The application fees needs to be paid online. The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) does not announce ideal score specifically for IBPS Clerk exam. The examination authority only announce the section-wise and overall cut off marks. Candidates need to secure equal to or more than the cut off marks inorder to qualify the exam. The score required to pass the exam varies depending on the number of candidates and the difficulty of the exam. Final-year students cannot apply for the IBPS Clerk Exam. Candidates need to have graduation mark sheet on the date of application. As per the notification, the minimum qualification require candidates to have a graduation degree or equivalent from a recognised university. Candidates between 20 and 28 Years can apply for the IBPS Clerk post.
