IBPS Clerk exam is conducted every year. The exam is conducted to select candidates for Clerical cadre post in 11 public sector banks. The selection process comprises prelims exam and Mains exam. The interview is not conducted for this post. The final is done based on the Mains exam.

IBPS Clerk syllabus is same for all other Clerical level exams. Candidates preparing for other banking exams can use IBPS Clerk syllabus to clear the topics and concepts covered in the syllabus. IBPS Clerk 2024 exam dates were announced through IBPS calendar. IBPS Clerk prelims exam is being conducted on August 24, 25 and 31, 2024. The Mains exam will be conducted on October 13, 2024. The prelims exam of IBPS Clerk is conducted for all the registered candidates. IBPS Clerk prelims exam is divided into three sections-Reasoning, Quant and English. The total marks allotted to the test are 100. The duration of the test is 60 minutes. The basic salary of an IBPS Clerk is INR 19,000 per month. After additional allowances, He/She gets INR 28,000 to INR 30,000 per month. Salary in certain metro cities are comparatively higher than rest. IBPS Clerk salary is the sum of basic pay and other allowances such as HRA (House Rent Allowance and Dearness allowances etc.) The first basic pay for IBPS Clerk is INR 19,900. 

  • Basic Pay after 3 years - 20,900, with a yearly increment of 1230 for the next three years
  • Basic Pay after the next 3 years - 24,590, with a yearly increment of 1490 for the next four years
  • Basic Pay after the next 4 years - 30,550, with a yearly increment of 1730 for the next 7 years

The steps to fill form using smartphones are below:

  • Visit the exam conducting body
  • Click on the application form link
  • View the page in landscape mode
  • Switch to 'Desktop site'
  • Set screens in auto-rotation mode
  • This enables the landscape mode
  • Same application form appear on desktop
  • The application forms appear the same as they appear on desktop
  • Fill and submit the application forms
