IBPS Clerk exam is conducted every year. The exam is conducted to select candidates for Clerical cadre post in 11 public sector banks. The selection process comprises prelims exam and Mains exam. The interview is not conducted for this post. The final is done based on the Mains exam.

IBPS Clerk syllabus is same for all other Clerical level exams. Candidates preparing for other banking exams can use IBPS Clerk syllabus to clear topics and concepts covered in syllabus. Candidates should always check specific syllabus for exam they are preparing for to ensure that they are focusing on most relevant topics.

IBPS Clerk 2024 exam dates were announced through IBPS calendar. IBPS Clerk prelims exam is being conducted on August 24, 25 and 31, 2024. The Mains exam will be conducted on October 13, 2024. The prelims exam of IBPS Clerk is conducted for all the registered candidates. IBPS Clerk prelims exam is divided into three sections-Reasoning, Quant and English. The total marks allotted to the test are 100. The duration of the test is 60 minutes. The Mains exam of IBPS Clerk comprises four sections General/ Financial Awareness, General English, Reasoning Ability & Computer Aptitude, and Quantitative Aptitude. The basic salary of an IBPS Clerk is INR 19,000 per month. After additional allowances, He/She gets INR 28,000 to INR 30,000 per month. Salary in certain metro cities are comparatively higher than rest. IBPS Clerk exam is conducted in 13 regional languages. Earlier, the question papers are framed in English and Hindi only.
