IBSAT and CMAT both exams are for management admission. Through these exams, one can get admission in good management institutes.CMAT is tougher than IBSAT.
IBSAT exam includes Reading Comprehension, Verbal Ability, Quantitative Aptitude and Data Interpretation. CMAT includes Quantitative Techniques, Data Interpretation, Logical Reasoning, Reading Comprehension, etc.
So both the exams have similar content but only differ in difficulty level. Institutes like IBS Business School, ICFAI University, etc. also give admission through IBSAT and institutes like JBIMS-Mumbai, Goa Institute of Management-Goa, K. J. Somaiya Institute of Manageme

Candidates who wish to pursue MBA/ PGPM programme from ICFAI Business School (IBS) need to appear for IBSAT exam. This is held in computer-based mode. IBSAT comprises Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) that are distributed among 4 sections Verbal Ability. Reading Comprehension, Quantitative Aptitude, Data Sufficiency and Data Interpretation.
