As per IBSAT exam pattern, the marking scheme for IBSAT is as follows:
- One mark for each correct answer
- No marks for wrong answers
Based on score obtained by candidates in IBSAT exam, they are shortlisted for the Group Discussion and Personal Interview rounds.
Listed below is the IBSAT cutoff:
- CAT & XAT: 60 percentile and above
- GMAT: 500+
- NMAT by GMACTM: 150+

Yes, IBSAT exam is conducted in online mode. The exam is held in remote proctored mode. Applicants can book the exam slot after completing the IBSAT application process online. To appear for the online mode of examination, candidates must have a desktop or laptop and download the required software to appear for the exam.
IBSAT 2025 exam will be held on December 27 and December 28. Candidates can book the exam slot tentatively from October 2025.

IBSAT 2025 slot booking window is open. Only registered candidates can book exam slot following below steps:
- Visit official website of IBS and login
- Click on tab 'Schedule IBSAT'
- Click on tab 'Book a seat'
- Enter the following details:
- Test name
- City
- Date
- Test centre name
- Test centre address
- Select suitable exam timing
- Candidates will be given 1 minute to confirm
- Screen will now display candidate and examination details.
- Download IBSAT admit card.

IBS Aptitude Test also known as IBSAT is conducted for admission to MBA/ PGDM programs of IBS nine campuses. Candidates having valid score in CAT/MAT/XAT/SNAP/NMAT/GMAT/MAH CET or any other state-level entrance examination are exempted from taking the IBSAT exam. Candidates desiring to take admission to the MBA/PGDM programme of IBS campuses must fill the IBSAT application form compulsorily. Candidates having a valid scores in CAT/XAT/CMAT or any other state-level examination will be exempted from taking the IBSAT exam.
