Yes, IBSAT exam is conducted in online mode. The exam is held in remote proctored mode. Applicants can book the exam slot after completing the IBSAT application process online. To appear for the online mode of examination, candidates must have a desktop or laptop and download the required software to appear for the exam.

IBSAT 2026 exam will be held tentatively in last week of December. Candidates can book the exam slot tentatively from October 2026.

IBSAT 2026 slot booking window is open. Only registered candidates can book exam slot following below steps:

Visit official website of IBS and login
Click on tab 'Schedule IBSAT'
Click on tab 'Book a seat'
Enter the following details:
- Test name
- City
- Date
- Test centre name
- Test centre address
Select suitable exam timing
Candidates will be given 1 minute to confirm
Screen will now display candidate and examination details.
Download IBSAT admit card.

IBS Aptitude Test also known as IBSAT is conducted for admission to MBA/ PGDM programs of IBS nine campuses. Candidates having valid score in CAT/MAT/XAT/SNAP/NMAT/GMAT/MAH CET or any other state-level entrance examination are exempted from taking the IBSAT exam. ICFAI Business School, Hyderabad releases the IBSAT cutoff along with the declaration of results. The minimum required IBSAT cutoff scores for getting a GD/PI call scheduled at IBS Hyderabad is given below:
1. CAT & XAT 60 percentile and above
2. GMAT 500 +
3. NMAT by GMACTM 150+
The minimum cutoff score for INR 2 Lacs scholarship eligibility criteria is
1. CAT Top 75 candidates with a minimum score of 90 percentile and above

Candidates desiring to take admission to the MBA/PGDM programme of IBS campuses must fill the IBSAT application form compulsorily. Candidates having a valid scores in CAT/XAT/CMAT or any other state-level examination will be exempted from taking the IBSAT exam. The IBSAT entrance test is conducted exclusively for admission to the ICFAI Business School. The NMAT exam is held for admission to NMIMS Mumbai and its campuses.
