The majority of DPharm programmes in India require applicants to have a Science background, including Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics, at the Class 12 level. As a Commerce student, candidates may not meet the typical eligibility criteria for DPharm admission since they would not have studied the necessary Science subjects.

The minimum score needed in Class 12 to be admitted to IEC University's DPharm programme is 45%.
