SOL doesn't have specialised course in B.Com for ICAI students whereas IGNOU has. It would be better to opt for IGNOU course specifically designed for ICAI students.

Hi,
The entrance exam is conducted twice a year. Mostly in August and February. You may have missed the dates for August entrance. You can still call them up and ask if they have extended the dates. Else, you can take the exam next time.
All the best.

Yes, you can surely get a job. However, it is advisable to go for some professional course like ACCA in order to fetch a good job. ACCA stands for the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants a leading international accountancy body. The ACCA qualification is recognised and is treated in other countries as being equivalent to their local qualification.

No, it will be as good as regular graduation. This is because IGNOU is a very well established brand name in the field of distance education. People go for distance education when they are unable to go for a regular course. The only thing important is your scorecard. Work hard in your studies to keep your scorecard outstanding. However, the final decision is always yours.
I hope this would suffice.
All the best and god bless you.
