Your question has been posted 2 years back but still relevant until 2021. This is the very question that one questions to himself/herself while doing the Post graduation. I don't think that we should ignore the future scopes in rural area as it has much much potential which is still to be penetrated. Still in 2021 there 70% of the rural population which is totally ignored when we talk about development or policies. Our whole India wanders around that 30% Urban and lazy population. All the startups like, swiggy, zomato, big basket, urban clap, ola, oyo each and every startups just focus on the urban population. As a fresher you may be not get good placement/oppurtunity in this sector but when I am talking it in long term perspective it is THE FUTURE!
