Sanjay82106, IIIT Allahabad offers a number of courses which includes 4-year B.Tech programmes and 5-year integrated courses for M.Tech and MBA. The cutoff ranks for each of these courses vary. The cutoff ranks also depend upon the category you have. Considering you belong to the general category, for getting admission into 4-year B.Tech programme in IT branch you should secure a rank of around 6000 and for ECE branch,11000.
For dual degree courses in IT, a rank of around 8000 would also work and whereas for ECE,the cutoff goes up till around 12000.

For getting into IITs , JEE MAINS will serve as an eligibility examination clearing which you will be eligible to write the ADVANCED paper and after that all that matters is your JEE-ADVANCED score and rank. Whereas, for getting admission into NITs , IIITs and other centrally and state funded institutions, your JEE MAINS score and class XII BOARD results matter. Your final score will be prepared by combining your MAINS score and Boards marks. 60% weightage of the MAINS score will be taken and remaining 40% weightage will come from your normalised Boards score. Then in the counseling process you will be allotted colleges based on your filled preferences ,your rank & cutoff ranks of the colleges.
