If your general rank is 6213, then u'll easily get IT at IIIT Allahabad because of reservation quota.

You should try for private colleges.Besides you should also give a try to state councilling.

Certainly You can. If you get the admission that is. Depends on your JEE mains rank. The cutoff is around 10 to 15k for all courses and this trend is only getting better with time. So you can look out accordingly.

for iiit allahabad I think above 4000 rank in obc will pursue you. go upto fourth round. u would get it

why to hope for IIIT when you have sure chances to get NIT.

Even IT degree is present and placements will be based on Btech (IT) of IIITA and MTech (your specialization) from IIITA. So basically you are expected to have even more skills than the Btech people they take from IIITA also. which in any case you will do.

Naveen11077, average package doesn't remain fixed, so i can't tell you any exact figure. All I can say is that placements are pretty good, but are mainly into IT companies, and if you stay average you can expect a job of around Rs.7 lpa. But again I would say that nothing is fixed, people get more than this also and many get less also, so ultimately it depends on your knowledge and hard work and yes, if you are good you can definitely bag a decent package from here.
