Candidates must have passed their Class 12 or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, along with Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, or any technical vocational subject. Aspirants must have got a minimum of 75% aggregate marks or 65% for SC/ST candidates to apply for BTech at IIIT Sonepat.

IIIT Sonepat offers admission to BTech based on JEE Main exam followed by JoSAA Counseling. The seat allocation is done based on JEE Main score of the candidates and availability of seats. 

IIIT Sonepat offers admission to UG courses based on entrance exam scores. Students must complete the application form for the accepted entrance exam and get a good score for admission.

The duration of the course is four years. The total tuition fee for Bachelor of Technology courses is INR 7.2 Lakh.
