IIIT Sonepat application fee for the B.Tech and PhD programme are as follows;

For B.Tech candidates have to pay the JEE Main fee : The application fee for boys is INR 625 and INR 325 for girls.

For PhD, candidates have to pay the PhD application fee : General/OBC/EWS Candidates INR 1000 and for SC/ST/PwD INR 500.

According to unofficial sources, a large share of IIIT Sonepat alumni are placed in the Engineering sector, with a 70% share. The other top sectors that involve the majority of alumni are Education and Operations with 13% and 7% shares, respectively. As per the latest report, 64 placement offers were made to the the batch 2024 at IIIT Sonepat. Earlier in 2023, 117 job offers were made while in 2022, 38 offers were made.

IIIT Sonepat offered the highest salary of Rs 40 LPA to the Class of 2024. Earlier, it was 52 LPA for batch 2023 and 20 LPA for 2022 batch. The salary has increased in the last three years.
