During the IIT Sonepat placement, the highest and average package offered was INR 41 LPA and INR 13.16 LPA whereas, during IIIT Pune placements, the highest package and average package offered during IIIT Pune placements 2022 were INR 53 LPA and INR 16.83 LPA, respectively. Moreover, when compared according to the BTech fees, the IIIT Sonepat BTech fee is INR 7.2 Lacs whereas the IIIT Pune BTech fee is also around INR 7.2 lakh.

The placement opportunities for IIIT Ranchi BTech graduates are excellent. In the 2022 placement season, the average salary package was INR 12.8 LPA and the highest salary package was INR 46 LPA. Some of the top recruiters for IIIT Ranchi BTech graduates include Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, and Flipkart. Around 40 students were placed in the year 2022.

The course pattern for IIIT Ranchi BTech is as follows:
Year 1: The first year of the BTech programme at IIIT Ranchi is common for both CSE and ECE students. Students take courses in mathematics, physics, chemistry, engineering drawing, programming, and data structures.
Year 2: In the second year, students begin to specialize in their chosen field. CSE students take courses in data structures and algorithms, operating systems, computer architecture, and software engineering. ECE students take courses in digital logic, signal processing, communication systems, and VLSI design.

The fee for the BTech course in IIIT Ranchi is INR 8.8 lakh, for four years. There are a total of four specialisations in BTech. Moreover, the average package in IIIT Ranchi was INR 14 LPA in the year 2024. College offers placements in companies such as Google, MPL, Amazon, American Express, and many more. IIIT Ranchi has a decent placement cell and faculty members who groom students well for interviews. College also offers scholarship programmes to students.

As of my knowledge, IIIT Surat does not offer a Ph.D. programme in Applied Physics. It's recommended to visit the official website of IIIT Surat or contact the institute directly for the most accurate and updated information regarding their Ph.D. programme offerings.

Candidates have to clear JEE Mains in order to get admission in IIIT Ranchi. The admission requirements for BTech CSE at IIIT Ranchi includes a minimum of 75% in the Class 12 board exams with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. Then they can apply through JoSAA. Candidates can also visit the official website to know about the choice-filling and counselling procedures.

IIIT Ranchi specially offers BTech as it sflagship courses. Candidates must score at least 75% marks (65% for SC/ST/PwD) in Class 12 and apply through JoSAA. Then they have to appear for JEE Mains exam and apply through JoSAA. Candidates can visit the official website of the college to fill up the application form and register for JoSAA. The Cut-Off list is already out candiates can check their cut-offs for their respective programmes.

Admission Procedure for IIIT Ranchi BTech programme:
- Candidates shall be offered colleges based on their All India Ranks in JEE Main. To get admission in IIIT Ranchi, score a good rank in JEE Main and apply through JoSAA .
- Candidates will be able to make their choices online for Institute selection. Select IIIT Ranchi as the preferred institute from the list of Institutes provided.
- This is followed by the online seat allocation process by JoSAA.
- If seat is confirmed in IIIT Ranchi, then visit the nearest Reporting Centre within the deadline. In case the seat is not confirmed, wait for further seat allotment rounds (if any).
