Based on your JEE Mains percentile and rank, it is possible to get admission into a good NIT or IIIT college for ECE. However, the exact college and branch that you may get into will depend on several factors such as the number of seats available, the category you belong to, your preferences, and the cutoffs for each college and branch. Yes, you can easily get admission in any NIT, but my suggestion takes a drop and fight for IIT you can easily get admission in any IIT. Just believe in yourself and work hard.

The highest package during NIT Patna placements was INR 52 LPA whereas at NIT Jabalpur, the highest package offered was INR 46 LPA according to the recent reports. Moreover, according to the NIRF ranking 2022, NIT Patna has been ranked 63 in Engineering category whereas NIT Jabalpur has been ranked 75.
