As DTU is one of the oldest colleges in India.
Also, PCT branch is very good and an easy branch.
You will get enough time for Masters/civil services preparation.

To get admission into NITs, IIITs and GFTIs under JEE counselling you need to have at least 75% (for general category), 65% (for SC, ST and PWD candidates) or be in the top 20 percentile from your board (in the top 20% students from your board).

IIIT's are built for excelling in the field of information technology, so it consists of only IT and CSE, its substitutes and electronics and communications engineering, whereas other engineering colleges have many more specialisations. IIITs have a edge over other engineering colleges as far as their curriculum is concerned.There is no need to study all the basic subjects like chemistry, drawing, metallurgy, etc. in the first year in IIITs and can directly jump to the subjects of interest. This results in providing better knowledge in the areas of specializations, resulting in top-notch students and hence, they get better
