It's as good college as any other national level college but the lack of proper infrastructure and resources prevail which is the reason for various problems here. If you are getting a choice between any other well established NIT or IIIT, then you should go for that.

Hello Shashikant,
You have very low or no chances to get a NIT or IIIT as your rank under SC category is 15000. You may get a college by your home state rank (if any colleges are in your state).

Hey there,
Its all depend on you whether you want to pursue your major in computers hardware and software or happy with your B.Sc program.
B.Tech in IT from IIIT-Vadodara is a good course to pursue but placement scenario is not upto that level which is in other IIITs.
So, make your decision wisely.

You can appear for SAT Examination along with JEE provided you can prepare for both exams simultaneously.
