B.Tech CSE at new IIITs is a better option than doing B.Tech in CSE from majority of private engineering colleges and universities.

Sorry, you are not eligible to take admission in both the colleges you mentioned.
Your rank is too high.
At this rank, no college will provide you admission.
So, take admission in a private college via management quota.

IIT needs JEE Advanced & IIIT needs JEE Mains scores. Both have different prospects so are the ranks required. For JEE Advanced, you need less than 7-8K CRL, but for IIIT, your chance is nearly nil at 25K.

Getting NIT with this rank seems difficult. But you must try your luck till spot round counselling because there might be a seat available in some low rank NIT. And yes do try for IIIT, you will get one with this rank.
