Yes, having arrears during the final semester can affect your admission even after qualifying PGEE. Most institutes, including IIIT-Hyderabad, require you to clear all backlogs before admission. You must submit a provisional certificate or proof of graduation at the time of admission to secure your seat.

Yes, the IIITH PGEE 2025 admissions M.Tech programmes have started. The IIITH PGEE 2025 application form was released on February 12 and the last date to apply is March 31, 2025. Candidates must have completed a 4-year bachelor's degree in engineering (B.Tech, B.E, or equivalent) in any of the following branches: Computer engineering, Information systems, Computer Science and engineering, Information technology, Electronics, and communication engineering + a valid GATE score, Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Technology/Design/Science or Equivalent (4 year programme after 10+2) or Masters degree in Science/Computer Applications (2 year programme after 10+2+3) with a minimum of 60% or equivalent grade. The IIIT PGEE syllabus is released by the International Institute of Information Technology, Hyderabad. Before beginning their preparation, applicants should familiarise themselves with the syllabus. All of the important chapters and the subjects they cover for the test are included in the syllabus. They should plan their preparation with the syllabus's level in mind.

Paper I and Paper II are the two papers that will be presented. Basic aptitude, logical reasoning, computer knowledge, and mathematics are some of the topics covered in Paper I. Subject Paper will be covered in Paper II (based on the candidates' chosen course). There will only be objective-style questions in Paper I. Both objective and subjective questions will be included in Paper II.
