The admissions at IIMC, Kottayam are merit-based. The candidates who have qualified the online IIMC entrance exam conducted by NTA are eligible to apply for the admission. The entrance exam is held twice a year, in June and December, and consists of two papers: Paper I (General English) and Paper II (Journalism). The syllabus and pattern of the exam are available on the official website of IIMC.

According to NIRF rankings, IIM Ahmedabad is the best management institute in india. IIM Ahmedabad is also the most preferred option for MBA aspirants. NIRF ranked IIM Ahmedabad as the best management institute in India in 2022 and 2023
Since 2011, IIM C has seen better placements due to its aggressive placement competition with IIM A. It has emerged as the best place to be in for Finance and Marketing alike. And all companies that visit IIM A, do visit and recruit from IIM C as well.

Indian Institute of Management and Commerce, known as IIMC Hyderabad is affiliated to Osmania University. The institute offers both undergraduate and postgraduate courses in full-time mode. IIMC Hyderabad admission to UG courses is purely merit-based as per the rules of Govt. of Telangana. However, for PG course, admission is entrance-based.

IIMC cutoff is minimum qualifying mark that students must socre to be eligible for admission. To ensure a seat at IIMC campus, aspirants are supposed to score equal to or more than prescribed cut off marks. If they fail to do so, they will not be able to get admission at Indian Institute of Mass Communication.

There are 65 seats for Post Graduate Diploma in Business Analytics (PGDBA) course of IIM Kolkata. There could be more number of seats for MBA programme as it is institute's flagship course.
