IIM Calcutta - Indian Institute of Management Admission Process

The modes of Indian Institute of Management Calcutta course admissions are online and offline. Admission to various courses is based on merit and entrance exam scores. Earlier, the CAT exam used to be of 180 minutes with 100 questions but in 2020, both exam duration and number of questions were reduced due to COVID-19 pandemic. Now, starting CAT 2022, the total number of questions stands at 66 as part of CAT pattern.

In addition, for working professionals, a superior of candidate can write a recommendation letter. It could be someone, who can elaborate on the candidate's research capabilities.
