Forget about your GPA and CGPA first you need to focus on your CAT percentile. Ideally, you should be above 99 percentile to get into IIMs only exceptional student who have managed to get even at 87 percentile this year but they will be rarest of the rare so focus on CAT your communication, GD, PI and thought clarity.

Hello Anand,
Apologies for the late reply. The procedure for joining any IIM is as follows:-
1. Prepare well for an exam called Common Aptitude Test (CAT), generally held in November end or December first week.

4. Give your best on the D-day. Whilst studying for CAT, prepare for the subsequent interview rounds to be held by the different IIMs.

You need to practice more questions. Better to join a test series to get the feel of exam. You need to target at least 95-96 percentile to get a call from IIMs.
Best of Luck.

Dear Aditya Agrawal, a Bachelors degree with a good CAT score enough to get a seat in IIMs. You need to work a lot to get good percentile in CAT. All the best.

CAT is the biggest exam among the MBA entrances conducted in the month of November/December. In order to secure admission in a good college, rigorous preparation is required. CAT score is considered by almost every college except colleges who conduct their own entrances, such as Symbiosis (SNAP) and NMIMS (NMAT).
Post exam results, each college conducts its own GDPI process to evaluate the candidate. Apart from the exam score, performance in GDPI is equally important. A MBA candidate should have thorough knowledge about the current affairs.
