There is no fixed answer for this as there are a lot of factors that determine your chances of getting into IIMA. IIMA usually prepares composite score which assigns different weights to your 10th, 12th and UG marks and also CAT Percentile. With 65% and 71% you are seriously disadvantaged in 10th and 12th, hence you will have to make sure that you get really good CAT percentile. If I have to guess, I would tell you to score more than 99.8 percentile. SO prepare really well and give your best shot at CAT.

You have to appear CAT exam and have to score above 97 percentile. Then as per your score and institute's criteria u have to apply in different IIMs and wait for their call letter. All the best. Thank you

Hi Akash,
Unless you are from ST category, you don't have any chances of getting a call (as per last year's eligibility). Even for ST category, the chances are very small.

They are in fact more important than CAT marks. IIM. Indore gives 35% weightage to 10th and 12th marks each, and less than 30 to CAT.

No this is not true. After clearing CAT, you may get admission in IIMs and you'll have to pay the fees.

To get a call from IIMs, the most important component is CAT score. Try to score as much as possible. If you can score 100 percentile, we will get call from all IIMs. Coming to your second question about maths, you have to prepare for quants. If you can prepare well for quants and score very good in verbal & LR, you can get 99+ percentile. This is much needed for IIM calls.
