Dear subhasmitha. IIM calcutta is pioneer in this area. and secondly that comes IIM Bangalore. you can prefer IIM calcutta as prime .

IIMs usually do not disclose the marks, however they do disclose percentile for each candidates. To get into an IIM, you will need to score at least 99 percentile. Also you will need to clear the individual subject cutoff which typically is around 95 percentile.

NO the type of college wont effect but the aggregate of UG will effect your IIM admission.

Yes you are eligible to appear in CAT exam for admission to IIMS.

Yes you can. You will have to score really good in CAT. Your previous academic performance puts you in second half of all the applicants and hence you are disadvantaged in terms of that. To compensate for the same you will have to score more than 99.5 - 99.7 percentile in CAT to get a call from IIM. My advice is that you prepare really well.

Definitely,why not? just follow the proverb"where there is will there is a way" and it does not matter the % in academic carrier it matters only in CAT percentile to complete your dream, so you start proceedings from right now.
