Hello, IIM interviews are not at all easy and requires heavy preparation to actually convert the calls. I got 14 IIM calls last year & I converted 13 of them and then finally took admission in IIM Ranchi. One should be thorough with his/her profile school, college, graduation, work experience, extra curricular, internship experience etc. ). If you are not thorough with your profile then you lost the battle here itself. After that you should focus on some common interview questions, there are various lists over internet about this and most important question among this is Tell me something about yourself. This question can either make or break your whole interview. Ideally you spend a lot of time in framing this answer and you should keep refining it every time, try to give as many pointers as possible in "Tell me about yourself answer. The answer should neither be too long or too short and avoid using any fancy in this answer. The answer should sound natural and not a made up one. After this focus on Current Affairs read about your interest areas and you should be well aware of local, national and international news. Along with this brush up your academics especially fresher aspirants. Keep all your answers concise and clear enough. During interview take a pause of 510 seconds to frame your answer and do not speak immediately like a puppet. Never Ever argue with panelists and never cut them in between. Practice about interviews by giving at least three mock interviews. All the best!

Tier 1 BLACKI IIMs will not give you a call because they give a lot of weightages to past marks. However, at this percentile like Amritsar and Bodh Gaya will definitely give you a chance so prepare well for your calls and GDPI, best of luck! And congratulations on securing a good CAT Percentile. The basic IIM eligibility criteria is graduation with minimum 50 per cent aggregate marks or equivalent CGPA (45 per cent for SC, ST and PWD/DA category) Candidates appearing for the final year of Bachelor's degree/equivalent qualification exam or awaiting their results, are also eligible to apply, MBA Colleges accepting Cut off at 80 percentile and above in CAT 2022 are some of the top MBA colleges in India. They include some new Iims and other top MBA/PGDM colleges in India. There are top three Iims, who have announced to accept 80+ percentile but their actual CAT cut off percentile may go up beyond 95. For example, for CAT 2021, IIM Ahmedabad shortlist cut off was 80 percentile while its interview call cut off was 99-100 percentile. For CAT 2022, the IIM Ahmedabad qualifying cut off is 80 percentile and the final cut off is expected to be the 99-100 percentile.
