Yes, candidates who have completed their 12th (science) from the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) board are generally eligible to apply for the Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research (IISER) entrance examination. However, it's crucial to verify the specific eligibility criteria set by each IISER for their entrance exams, as requirements may vary slightly from one institution to another. Typically, eligibility is based on certain academic criteria such as minimum marks in the qualifying examination and sometimes also includes criteria related to age and nationality.

Hi there, calculating marks from the rank is something that is not possible. You can get somewhat of an estimate but there is no way to know if it will be correct or not. There are some estimators that can be used to get your predicted rank by your marks but not one for vice versa. Your rank depends on your competitors and yourself while your marks depend upon the difficulty level as well. For IAT, rank is way more important than marks. So, don't burden yourself with worrying about your marks or cut off. Your rank matters the most.
