The best place to learn Science in the country.

Placements: Almost all the students who passed out were offered higher education in good institutes ( mostly in foreign universities). Since it is a Science institute we don't have salary packages, instead we are provided with stipend for our work. There stipend ranges from 30k to 85k in India and >$2000 dollars (or equivalent) in foreign countries. Top colleges include Stanford, Harvard, Max Planck, etc. We also get internships in other universities, but mostly we prefer Summer projects which are useful academically. Most of the students in my batch have done Summer projects in reputed universities in India like, IIT's, IISc, other IISERs, NISER, NCBS, TIFR etc. There is also a scholarship offer for project opportunity in European countries, called DAD Scholarship. Typically all students must do at least one Summer project by the end of second year.

Infrastructure: This is one of the best campus in the country. We have 5 disciples - Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Maths and Earth Science. We can either specialise in one of the discipline after 2nd year or can choose a combination of our liking. The campus has high-speed Wi-Fi facility and Hostels have LAN connections. Other facilities like library, canteen, sports etc. Are top in class. Currently we have indoor badminton and basketball court which is completely made out of wood. The canteen offers a wide variety of options of food.

Faculty: Teaches are highly qualified and are skilled. Being in one of the top Science institute requires certain level of knowledge, so the faculty should be one of the best in the field. The curriculum is more focused on deeper understanding of fundamentals than the peripheral review of topics. The course ensure that students are ready for research and helps them build connections in inter discipline topics.
