Candidates should preserve the IISER 2026 admit card till the admission is completed. The admit card has to be carried to the exam centre. It has to be verified during the IISER counselling processes as well.

No, candidates are advised to get a printout of the admit card as no electronics are allowed in the entrance exam. Along with the IISER admit card, test-takers also need to carry a valid photo identity card. In case they are unable to produce the original hard copy of these mandatory documents, they will not be allowed to enter the exam hall and appear for the exam. In case candidates forget to carry the admit card, they can either get the printout from a nearby shop or request the officials to utilise the centre's printer facility.

Yes, The IISER exam address/venue is mentioned on the IISER admit card. For avoiding last minute hassles, candidates are advised to visit the exam center in advance and plan the commute and timing accordingly.

No, candidates will have to download the IISER entrance exam admit card online. The admit card will not be sent to the candidate via mail, post or courier.

Candidates will have to follow the process given below to download the IISER Entrance Exam admit card.

  • Go to the IISER entrance exam website
  • Click on the IAT Admit Card tab
  • Enter the User ID and password
  • The admit card will be displayed
  • Download and take printouts.

IISER Entrance Exam 2026 admit card is likely to be released in the second week of May. It must be preserved till the admission process is over.

Upon successful submission of the IISER online application form along with the exam fee, an automated email and SMS were sent to the registered email ID and mobile number of candidates. In case the application process was not submitted, but the application fee got debited, candidates were advised to contact IISER Exam conducting body or visit the official website for assistance for the application status. Even after three days if candidates did not receive the application confirmation, then they were advised to try and complete the IISER IAT 2023 application form.

For selecting IISERs during online application can must note the following points carefully:
1. At the time of online application, a candidate will be shown 9 programs across 7 IISERs.
2. Candidate is required to make a preference list from among these 9 programs that the candidate wants to be considered for an admission.
3. The preference order must be from the most preferred (first preference) to the least preferred (last preference).
4. The preference list must contain at least one IISER programme.
