IIT Bombay JEE Advanced Cutoff 2024 was concluded for admission to the BTech/Integrated BTech/BS courses. The cutoff was released for different categories under the AI quota. For the General AI category candidates, the last round closing rank to secure a seat in CSE was 68. For the SC AI category, the last round closing rank for CSE was 32.

IIT Bombay JEE Advanced Cutoff 2024 was released in the form of opening and closing cutoff ranks. Normally, the number of seats is directly proportionate to the Cutoff ranks. Also, it is observed that as the number of applicants increase, the Cutoff rank also increases. IIT Bomby 2024 Cutoff showed that, the number of seats increased in comparison to the last year in a few courses, and increased in a few courses. It also indicates that the competition has been declining in a few courses, while improving in a few. There are a total of 199 seats for the BTech Computer Science and Engineering course at IIT Bombay. Students are admitted as per JEE advanced scores and the sanctioned seat intake. The seat allotment procedure is carried out through JoSAA counselling. It must be noted that the mentioned seat intake is as per the official website/sanctioning body. It is still subject to changes and hence, is indicative.

The lab subjects covered in the IITB Electrial Engineering course are related to the specialisation. Each of the semester has some lab subjects in it. Students have to pass the lab subjects separately to get admission. Some of the lab subjects included in the course curriculum are:
- Physics Lab/Chemistry Lab
- Digital Systems Lab
- Analog Circuits Lab
- Power Engineering Lab
- Communications Lab, etc.
