The difference between eligibility criteria of MBA and MBA in Business Analytics courses offered at IIT Dhanbad are as follows: 

General MBA: Graduates in any discipline with first class or having 60% marks or CGPA of 6.0 out of 10 (55% marks or CGPA of 5.5 for SC/ ST/ PwD) are eligible to apply.

MBA in Business Analytics:  Candidates with BTech/ BE degree in any discipline from a recognised university/ institute with at least 60% marks in aggregate or 6.0 out of 10 CGPA (55% marks in aggregate or 5.5 CGPA out of 10 in case of candidates belonging to SC, ST and PwD (Differently Abled Categories) will be eligible for the program

The hostel amount for the BTech students at IIT Dhanbad, can fluctuate according to the chosen room/ type of hostel. The accommodation can be of single occupancy, double, triple, etc. The hostel charges is around Rs. 1.66 L - Rs. 1.95 L. This fee can change because of the no. of reasons, likewise academic year, seats, etc.

There are no. of factors that one can taken into account, while comparing the IIT Dhanbad BTech course. These factors can not be predecided, because it can change according to the students' preferences. Some of the imp. considered factors are, seats, placements, fees, ROI, etc.

As per the data of previous academic year, the classes for the BTech course usually commenced in the last week of July. Thus, the dataes can be same.

IIT Dhanbad offers no. of specialsiations in BTech course. These specialisations are given in four-year regular programme, integrated course, and dual-degree programme. The names of some of the specialised courses are as follows: 

  • Chemical Engineering

Indian Institute of Technology Dhanbad has zero tolerance policy towards ragging. The institute has a internal committe for ragging complains. The ragging cell helps the students to encourage and report the issue. Students who encounter ragging should report it to designated authorities for a safe and secure environment.
