Yes, it is a good book, but only Arihant is not enough to crack the JAM Exam. You have to take help from other books as well. So, you have to buy separate books for each topic in JAM. JAM is for Masters, and NIOS is a board for class 10th and class 12th. There is no link between them. JAM board is more concerned with your eligibility test and your qualified degree.
