The eligibility criteria of JAM 2019 will give candidates the details of the minimum marks required by candidates to qualify to apply for the exam. JAM is an annual entrance exam conducted by IIT, as part of the admission to the various Postgraduate programmes offered by the participating IITs.

Yes, you are eligible for IIT JAM Exam when you are appearing in final year of graduate course or have degree of the graduate. The eligibility of IIT JAM Exam is: -
All candidates admitted through IIT JAM https://www.eduncle.com/iit-jam-exam should have a Bachelors degree. In the qualifying degree, the aggregate marks or CGPA/CPI without rounding-off should be at least 55% or 5.5 out of 10 for General/OBC (NCL) category candidates and 50% or 5.0 out of 10 for SC/ST and PwD category candidates.

Hello,
It is conducted on Feb 10, 2019, ie Sunday. It is an online exam where you will be provided with a mouse. You will not be provided with a keyboard rather you will have a virtual numerical keyboard which is used in section 3/c and scribbling pad which has to be returned after the exam
the question paper consists of three sections -A, B, C and each section consists of 20 questions.
Section A is all about choosing one correct answer and you will be awarded negative marks for every wrong answer (-1/3).
Section B is about choosing multiple questions. Negative marking is there for this section also ie 2/3.

The M.Sc Ph.D. Dual Degree in Environmental Science and Engineering is offers at IIT, Bombay only. The minimum educational qualifications for admission is as under :
Any one of Biology, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics for two years/four semesters, and any one of the other four subjects for at least one year/two semesters. Once the exams are done, IIT JAM releases separate IIT JAM cut off marks for General, OBC and SC/ST students. Cut off for IIT JAM 2019 is decided on the basis of the difficulty level of exam, number of vacancies available, total number of student appeared, previous year IIT JAM cut off and average marks obtained by candidates in IIT JAM. Based on IIT JAM Result, candidates are then admitted to Institutes according to the preference of choices filled by them in Admission Form.
