After the completion of your 12th standard, you can do B.Sc in Forestry- a four-year undergraduate programme specifically aimed towards the management and conservation of forests and natural resources. You are eligible if you have passed 12 with PCB as subjects with minimum aggregate marks of 50%. Mostly, entrance tests like CUET, ICAR AIEEA, or Merit-Based Tests will provide admission.The course will consist of topics like forest ecology, wildlife management, and the practices of sustainability. With the help of this course, a candidate can work as Forest Officer, Conservationist, and even as a Researcher, with average pay falling between INR 3-10 Lacs annually.
