The cutoff trend for B.Tech at IIT Kharagpur - Indian Institute of Technology has been decreasing in the recent years. In 2022, the closing rank for B.Tech. under general category for all India quota was 303. In 2023, it decreased to 279. Likewise, the cut off ranks have changed from 138 to 160 for OBC, 85 to 92 for SC, 39 to 32 for ST, 52 to 54 for EWS, 17 to 30 for PWD. This trend is likely to continue in the coming years, as the demand for engineering education in India continues to grow.
