IIT Kharagpur was established in 1951 and is ranked five by NIRF (National Institutional Ranking Framework) 2023 under the Research category. It is a public/government institute, hence the fee for various courses is not very high. Even if the students find the fee a little high, they can apply for the scholarships provided by the college. The scholarships are limited so apply as soon as possible. Students must remember that admission will only be possible if the candidate meets the eligibility criteria. NITs & SPAs accept admissions through JOSAA only
IITs accept admissions through AAT only for architecture
To qualify for AAT you need to atleast qualify in JEE Advance

The conducting IIT releases JEE Advanced admit card under the respective logins of the registered candidates at jeeadv.ac.in. To login, students are required to use their JEE Advanced registration number, password and registered mobile number. Now, that the JEE Main exam for the 2023 session is already over, the JEE Advanced admit card 2024 will be available for download until exam day.
