Aerospace Engineering is all about aircrafts, rockets, and spacecrafts also. It is a very big field. Basically there are four sub branches in aerospace engineering in which you can specialize. Aerodynamics, structures, control systems and propulsion. So as per you interest that you'll develop while you will be completing your degree you can chose one and specialize in that field. Talking about employment opportunities, I would say that there is not much scope (there are but not at a very large scale) in India.
