IIT Roorkee provides financial support to its BSc ST/SC/EWS category students. The institute provides special fee concession to the aforementioned students. Following table represents fee relaxation for different categories:

IIT Roorkee BSc curriculum differs for each specialisation. However, some common topics taught in the first year of each specialisation are Mathematics, Indian Knowledge System, Physics Lab, Computer Programming, Engg. Analysis and design (design thinking based project)/Industry Oriented Problem and more.

Students interested to get admission to IIT Roorkee BSc courses are required to appear for the qualifying examination which is JEE Advanced. The registrations for the said exam are now live. Students who have qualified JEE Main are eligible to register for the exam. The last date to register is May 07, 2024 and May 10, 2024 for fee payment.

The total tuition fees for BSc courses at IIT ranges between INR 8 Lacs to INR 10 Lacs for course duration of four-five years, as per the official website/sanctioning body. It is, however, subject to changes and hence, is indicative. Apart from this tuition fees, the college also charges students for few more components mentioned below.

- Mess Charges- INR 26,250
