IIT Roorkee offers Master of Architecture (M.Arch.) program in various specializations such as Architecture and Planning, Building Services, and Disaster Mitigation and Management. The admission to the program is usually based on the GATE score, followed by a personal interview or written test.

IIT Roorkee Placements 2023 is in progress. The highest CTC stood at INR 1.3 CPA and the highest International CTC stood at INR 1.06 CPA. A total of 500 offers have been made as of Day 2 of the placement drive. A total of 63 recruiters participated in the placement drive. No, IIT Roorkee doesn't accept NATA Score. There are only two IITs that offer B.Arch admissions - IIT Kharagpur and IIT Roorkee. IIT Roorkee offers admission on the basis of AAT (Architecture Aptitude Test). AAT is an architecture entrance exam for admission into IITs. For appearing in AAT you have to clear JEE Advance. To appear in JEE Advanced you have to clear JEE Main.

IIT Mandi has been ranked 31st by NIRF for B.Tech Mechanical engineering amongst the top engineering colleges in the country. While IIT Tirupati and IIT Dharwad were recently established and haven't been ranked yet by NIRF. On the other hand IIT Dhanbad, previously known as ISM is ranked 12th according to NIRF for engineering physics.

I think IIT Roorkee with ECE is the better option as compared to IIT Delhi with mechanical. Because of the branch. In future, ECE has more demand than mechanical. Otherwise, both colleges are top most.
