Yes, IITs stands among top colleges of India like Sir JJ College of architecture and SPA delhi. Only two IIT's offer B.Arch Roorkee and Kharagpur which have excellent placement cell also with almost 100% placement.

Hey there, i am in the same stage, like i am into twelfth now and i am preparing for IIT and also wish to appear for SAT. I think preparing for jee gets u through for the math section in SAT if u check the papers. English needs some attention. Work on that before appearing for the exam, solve papers. Maybe it would work out well.

Hey Neeraj,
That will not be beneficial most probably. You shouldn't be demoralized at this stage only, you have a long way to go. You can apply to some best private universities and get the same knowledge and pay packages. Private universities are also having best infrastructure now. Some suggestions -

If you are in SC category and qualified than apply for it. Sometimes seats remain vacant in SC category so apply in all IITs. Once you get selected you have a verities of choice to choose among them. All the best
