Yes, candidates belonging to the General AI quota with a cutoff rank of 500 can get an admission to MSc courses at IIT Tirupati. However, please note that the cutoff ranks vary for different rounds, specialisations, and categories. Therefore, admission will be granted to only those MSc specialisations whose Round 1 closing rank is above 500. Yes one can get admission in IIT Tirupati if he/ she meets the eligibility criteria. For the B.tech courses you have to clear JEE mains and secure a good rank in JEE advanced and then participate in the counselling procedure. For M.tech you have to clear GATE and participate in the counselling procedure. For other courses like M.Sc you have to qualify JAM and for PHD you have to clear GATE, UGC-NET, CSIR-NET.
