In 2025, the IIT Palakkad CSE cutoff was relatively less competitive for admission as compared to that of IIT Tirupati and IIT Goa for students belonging to the General AI quota. The CSE cutoff ranged between 4620 and 5034 for IIT Tirupati, while for IIT Goa, it ranged from 5626 to 6242. IIT Tirupati library timing is 9 am to 12 am from Monday to Friday. During Saturday & semester breaks, the timings are from 9 am to 7 pm. On Sunday & public holidays, it is 9 am to 5 pm.

Yes, IIT Tirupati has 6 multistoried hostel blocks for the students. The hostel rooms are allocated on a sharing basis. The hostels are separate for girls and boys, faculty, and staff members. IIT Tirupati hostels are spacious and have study areas, Wi-Fi, and round-the-clock water and electricity facilities. Each hostel is designed with recreational rooms and a strong focus on safety. For the SC AI category, the IIT JAM 2025 cutoff ranged between 1014 and 2451 for MSc admission across multiple specialisations.
