Till now, we only have got some glimpse of the predicted pattern of the next year examination as nothing is certain. So, it is better to wait for the official notification, it will be more clear then.

If you want to do MBA from good colleges, I advice you to give CAT instead of GMAT.
If you want top foreign colleges, you have to give GMAT otherwise CAT is the best exam to get admission in top MBA colleges.
Apart from CAT, there is some good colleges which have their own entrance exam like XAT, IIFT, SNAP, NMAT, etc.
