Scholastic Aptitude Test was basically used by many colleges in US & Canada as one of the criteria for giving admissions. Now some deemed to be universities or well-known Institutions having foreign collaboration also give admissions based on this. We cannot predict the exact number of students who appeared in ICAR, but it is above 1.5 lakhs. As many engineering assistants apply for this entrance exam. If you have got a seat, then you should not miss the opportunity. You should take admission.

Yes, you can. You must have atleast a 3-year college degree/4 years for engineering course (or expect it later this year). If you fail to fulfil the UGC norms and guidelines on UG programme then the eligibility for the admission shall not be entertained. As per the Government guidelines, the candidate must complete his/ her graduation from any recognised university of state/centre/deemed/ autonomous college/ private university established under the UGC Act.

There is no compulsion on appearing in the AIBE. If you wish to practice law in India then you must attempt AIBE. However, if you wish to make a career as a Corporate Lawyer or you wish to practise only in your home state then your law degree and state bar council enrollment would suffice. Bar Council of India will conduct AIBE 2019 XIII (13) by the first week of December 2018.
