So, the University extends Scholarship and Financial Aid Scheme which is an initiative by the University to cultivate the talent of students that may be hidden due to financial constraints. Scholarship/ Financial Aid can be availed in all the Programmes of the University, ranging from Diploma to Ph.D. In the last seven years, University has offered Scholarships/ Financial Aid worth 500+ Crores. The fee structure depends on many factors like the programme you want to join, the caliber of the student, the performance of the candidate in the qualifying examination and in the entrance tests if applicable. So, applicable fees for the programme depend on the Scholarships if any is applicable. Scholarship will generally be awarded on the basis of previous performance in academics, cultural, sports or other activities or under specific scholarship schemes category for a particular section of students. Being Alumni of LPU, I would like to answer this question. At LPU, Admission in any programme depends on qualifying the Eligibility criteria for that programme, so qualifying the same you can proceed for Admissions. LPU conducts LPU NEST for most of the programmes. LPU NEST is National Entrance and Scholarship Test for admission to various programmes in LPU. This test forms the basis of Eligibility and Scholarship for most of the programmes and for some of the programmes test is applicable only for scholarship. LPU NEST serves both the purposes. Also, if you have qualified LPU NEST for Eligibility purpose, you can also improve your score for Scholarship purpose as well. For qualifying the LPU NEST for Eligibility purpose, around 40% marks are required but for Scholarship purpose, cut-offs are required to be qualified for LPU NEST. So, qualifying the same, you can proceed for Admissions. Admissions in LPU have started for most of the programmes.
