As per the official data by the Medical Council of India (MCI), as many as 272 MBBS colleges offers a total of 41,388 government medical seats through NEET 2020. While, using NEET scores, 76,928 medical seats will be offered in 532 government as well as private colleges of India.

The Medical College is recognised by Medical Council of India for both MBBS (150 seats) & PG programme (86 seats). Admissions to Goa Medical College are through National Eligibility cum Entrance Test NEET which is conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) in the 1st week of the month of May every year.
